Tenet Health is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our expanding, high-volume cardiovascular program. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, hospital-employed model with access to advanced cardiac surgical case mix and a strong multidisciplinary team.

Practice Details

  • Dedicated cardiac anesthesia practice
  • Case mix includes:
    • CABG, valve repairs/replacements
    • Structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip)
    • Thoracic aortic surgery
    • Mechanical circulatory support (LVAD, ECMO)
  • Participation in general OR cases optional or limited, depending on candidate preference
  • Advanced monitoring and perioperative care:
    • Intraoperative TEE (required)
    • Hemodynamic optimization & critical care involvement
  • Collaborative team of:
    • Cardiac surgeons
    • Interventional cardiologists
    • Intensivists and perfusionists

Qualifications

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completed Anesthesiology residency
  • Completion of Cardiac Anesthesia fellowship
  • Board Certified / Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Advanced Perioperative TEE certification (or eligible)
  • Eligible for medical licensure in FL
